Welcome to the GRAND OPENING weekend of the new Adventure Park!!

All the hard work of the PRISME and Upper Clements Parks team has paid off and it's time to open the gates and Welcome you all to the new Adventure Park.  Today and tomorrow, gates open at 9:15am with our first challengers scheduled to depart at 10:00am.  Reservations can be made for every 45 minutes thereafter up until 4:00pm.  Don't wait, call our toll free number, 888.248.4567, to make your reservation today!

Thursday, we held our official ribbon cutting ceremony, introducing our expert team and providing a bit of the history behind the project.  Many folks took advantage of this opportunity to test their agility and skills on the courses and our team advised that everyone completed the courses like champions!  Great job.



Yesterday, the AVR/Upper Clements Parks Cruiser was onsite to help host our Public Open house.  An exciting day allowing interested adventurers to get a sneak peek at the Park and its courses a day early!

Finally, today, we are pleased to officially open and kick off summer.  The courses are completed, the team is ready and waiting and we are excited to provide you with an experience like no other.

We are so excited to see the Adventure Park coming together!!

The team has completed the Park walking trails and pathways, all the fencing and parklot work is just about complete and they are down to one final zipline to install!

SO CLOSE!

Training is underway.  Our staff is undergoing intense training with a team of experts and are looking forward to the days in the future they can spend training YOU!!

It's all coming together and we can't wait to share this exciting new development.

We are very pleased with the progress of our New Adventure Park.  Weeks of watching the construction and transformation has been quite a thrill.  It's almost time to come down out of the trees and begin the ground work involved in ensuring our walking paths are cleared and prepared for all to enjoy.

As we prepare to move to the next phase, we will add more pictures so you can share in the excitement as we draw closer to completion.  We will keep you posted via our Blog, Facebook and our Website as more details are availalbe!

All of the Ziplines except one have now been installed with a total of 11 stations ranging in size from 40m to 135 m in length!!  Two ladders, 5m and 7.5m, have been put in place to allow for either ascending or descending between platforms.

Below, you can see the team preparing to install frames for a landing deck and another ladder in order to keep the slope of the zipline in line with the slope of the terrain.



As of today, the team is on track to have the Adventure Park installations completed within 6-8 days!!!

After two weeks away from Nova Scotia, the PRISME team is back in action.

Week 5 Day 22

After a stretch of good weather, the rain finally came...Nothing to stop the motivation of the Prisme Team. The Green, Blue and Red course are completed and the two first ziplines in the yellow course have been set in place. Four platforms have been installed at the entrance to the forest, which will be used as a practice/training area to prepare the participants for the Adventure that lies ahead.

15 days into construction, the PRISME team has completed the Green course and is putting the final touches on the Blue course. As for the Red course, half of the obstacles have been installed and day 16 will bring to life the "bunny hop", "sandwich net" and the "twist foot bridge". Preparations have also begun for phase two of the construction, which will include the Yellow and Orange courses, that mainly consists of ziplines across a waterway.

The Green Course at the Adventure Park is just about ready to receive its first test run. The team from Prisme Equipment Canada, which includes five technicians, has been keeping busy deploying and installing the twenty pallets of material throughout the forest and up onto the trees.

They are hoping to have most of the platforms installed on the Green, Blue and Red course by the end of this week and continue on with spanning the games between the trees. You may view the courses at www.upperclementsparks.com, under Plan Your Day. Tomorrow's games installations will include the pirate ladder, the platform jump and the giant hammock. Lots of Fun!
